Warehouse Operator - Clayton We are seeking a reliable
Warehouse Operator to support day-to-day warehouse operations and ensure the
safe, accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers and suppliers. This is a hands-on role combining warehousing, forklift operation and delivery driving in a busy trade environment.
About the Role- Receiving, checking and receipting incoming goods
- Labelling, storing and organising stock in warehouse locations
- Operating forklifts and order-picking equipment
- Picking, packing and dispatching customer and branch orders
- Generating consignment notes and completing delivery paperwork
- Assisting with daily cycle counts and annual stocktakes
- Maintaining warehouse housekeeping and safety standards
- Delivering and collecting goods in a safe and professional manner
- Assisting customers and store operations as required
Candidate must be physically fit as this role involves manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces, constant squatting, lifting and moving items.
Health, Safety & Compliance- Follow WHS and environmental procedures at all times
- Use PPE and report hazards or incidents immediately
- Work in line with company policies, ethics and professional standards
About You- Current Forklift Licence (essential)
- Valid Light Vehicle Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Customer-focused with good communication skills
- Reliable, safety-conscious and a strong team player
Desirable- Qualification in Warehouse/Logistics (Cert III or IV)
- ERP / Oracle system experience
