Shutdown Trade Assistants and Carpenters | Orica | NSW Seeking 3 Trade Assistants and 3 Carpenters for an upcoming
shutdown at Orica's Ammonia plant. This is a great opportunity to join a major industrial project and work alongside experienced trades.
- Orica's Ammonia plant- Kooragang NSW
- 5th October - 11th November
- Monday to Friday: 6:00am - 4:00pm
- Saturday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- $42 per hour + Penalties + Super (Trade Assistant)
- $50 per hour + Penalties + Super (Carpenters)
Essential Requirements- White Card
- Confined Space Entry (CSE) (Dated within the last 2 years)
- Working at Heights (WAH) (Dated within the last 2 years)
- For carpenters (Cert III or equivalent)
Highly Regarded- Dogging
- Forklift Licence (FL)
- Yellow Card
- EWP
About You- Previous shutdown, industrial, construction, or maintenance experience
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team
- Available for the full shutdown period
- Must live locally not FIFO or DIDO. NO ACCOMMODATION PROVIDED.
IMPORTANT Please be aware that Orica conducts extensive random Drug & Alcohol initial and random testing throughout the shutdown. Any worker who returns a positive result or is found to breach Orica’s Drug & Alcohol requirements will be permanently banned from the site. If you are not prepared to comply with Orica’s Drug & Alcohol requirements, please do not apply.
