General Labourer – Parks & Landscaping | Townsville
Ongoing Work | Immediate Start | Skid Steer Experience Highly Regarded Achieve Group is seeking reliable and hardworking
General Labourers for ongoing outdoor works in the Townsville region.
This is a hands-on role involving general labouring, landscaping, minor concreting and installation works. We are looking for people who are physically fit, comfortable working outdoors and can work effectively as part of a crew.
Duties will include:- Shovelling, raking and digging
- Installation of park furniture and bollards
- Minor concreting works, including formwork, setting and finishing
- Mulching and preparation of garden beds
- Planting and general landscaping
- Site preparation and clean-up
- Loading, unloading and moving materials
- General manual labouring
- Operating a skid steer/Bobcat where experienced and competent
To be successful you will need:- Previous labouring, civil, landscaping or construction experience
- Construction White Card
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Good level of physical fitness
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to work outdoors in North Queensland conditions
- Strong safety awareness
- Reliable attitude and willingness to undertake a variety of duties
Highly regarded:- Skid steer/Bobcat experience
- Skid steer VOC or demonstrated competency
- Concreting/formwork experience
- Landscaping or parks and gardens experience
- MR/HR licence
- Other plant operating experience
We're looking for a good
all-round labourer who isn't afraid of physical work. Someone with landscaping/concreting experience who can also jump on a skid steer when required would be ideal.
