Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Skilled Labourer to join our team in the civil construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform a variety of skilled construction tasks including, but not limited to, concrete work, excavation, formwork, and site preparation.
- Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools.
- Assist in the installation of infrastructure components such as drainage systems, roads, and bridges.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.
- Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Ensure the proper use and care of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Skilled Labourer in the civil construction industry.
- Ability to operate construction equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred).

Desirable Skills:

- Certification in construction-related fields or trade qualifications.
- Experience working on large-scale civil construction projects.
- Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and communities.
