Site Cleaner - Facilities Maintenance - Mt Morgan Mine
- 6-month fixed-term role, with potential for extension.
Achieve Group is looking for a Site Cleaner for our client at Mount Morgan Mine. The right candidate be responsible for ensuring office and public-use areas are kept clean, hygienic, safe, and well presented. This role involves daily cleaning duties as well as scheduled periodic and rotational cleaning tasks to maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
Routine Cleaning- Sanitise toilets, basins, sinks, taps, mirrors, and partitions
- Refill consumables and empty rubbish & sanitary bins
- Clean kitchen/crib areas, benches, sinks, and appliances
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors; maintain tidy office spaces
- Wipe high-touch surfaces and spot-clean walls, doors, and skirting boards
- Report maintenance issues promptly
Rotational / Periodic Cleaning- Dust shelves, ledges, and furniture
- Clean internal windows, glass doors, and frames
- Sweep/veranda and external walkways; remove bird droppings
- Maintain display areas in line with heritage or site requirements
- Conduct general inspections and address areas needing attention
Supplies, Stores & WHS- Monitor cleaning supplies and maintain organized storage
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with guidelines
- Identify hazards, damage, or maintenance needs and report promptly
- Work independently, manage time effectively, and assist with additional tasks as requested
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respect in the workplace
Requirements:
- White card, or ability to obtain within 1 month of commencement
- QLD driver's licence
