TITLE: HR/MR Truck Driver - Floater
AREA: Rockhampton
DAYS: Monday - Friday
PAY: $37p/hr + penalties + travel away allowances
We are looking for a truck floater who once trained will visit and cover various depots within the Cairns, Proserpine, & Gladstone regions.
All travel expenses, overnight rates & accommodation are covered when traveling, and you will only need to pay for your normal meals. Whilst not travelling you will be working out of the Rockhampton depot.
The role is with a popular freight and parcel company. Some of your runs will be PUD deliveries and some will be bulk with pallets.
The right candidate will have a fair level of fitness due to the nature of the role. The majority of the work will be loading and unloading by hand.
Involved in this role is a lot of walking, bending, lifting and using the scanner, which will require some level of technical skill.
Customers are at the front of our business and we would like to think that you as the face of our business would consider them in the same light.
Proven customer service experience is essential.
We work with a variety of customers and staff, so you will need to be someone who can get along with people, have good communication skills and a positive attitude.
REQUIREMENTS- HR/MR Truck Licence
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
- Own transport for getting to the depot daily
- Ability to work away as required
- Some technical skills
