Project Engagement Advisor (Contract) - Townsville

Community Engagement | Stakeholder Relations | Infrastructure Projects
$66.16 - $71.79 / hour (depending on experience)

We're seeking an experienced Project Engagement Advisor to support the delivery of major infrastructure projects by leading community engagement, stakeholder management and communications activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a communications professional who enjoys building strong relationships, managing complex issues and providing strategic advice in a project delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead community and stakeholder engagement activities for major infrastructure projects.
• Develop and implement communication and engagement strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with communities, landholders and key stakeholders.
• Manage project-related issues and reputation risks.
• Coordinate stakeholder consultation and engagement activities.
• Provide strategic communications advice to project managers and technical teams.
• Act as the primary engagement contact for project teams.

About You You'll bring experience in:

• Community engagement and stakeholder management.
• Issues and reputation management.
• Ministerial and executive correspondence.
• Communications within infrastructure, government or major project environments.
• Developing stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
• Managing relationships with diverse community and stakeholder groups.

Key Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide sound, practical advice on complex stakeholder issues.
• Strong relationship-building and consultation skills.
