Program Performance Advisor (AO5) to support the governance, performance, reporting and program delivery functions of a major Queensland Government initiative. Working across regional and statewide stakeholders, you'll play a critical role in ensuring projects are governed effectively, risks are managed proactively, and decision-makers have the information they need to deliver outcomes for Queensland communities.

What You'll Be Doing As the
Program Performance Advisor (AO5), you'll be responsible for providing high-level governance, reporting and program support services that enhance the successful delivery of complex projects and strategic initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Governance & Executive Support
- Preparing agendas, governance papers, briefing packs and supporting materials for regional and statewide steering committees and boards
- Coordinating governance meetings and ensuring actions are tracked through to completion
- Producing high-quality minutes and managing escalation pathways
- Supporting executive correspondence, ministerial responses, briefing notes and executive communications
Program Performance & Reporting
- Monitoring and maintaining risk, issue and dependency registers
- Validating and standardising program data for reporting and governance purposes
- Ensuring reporting information is accurate, consistent and audit-ready
- Developing meaningful insights from program data to support decision-making
- Supporting regional consistency in governance and program oversight practices
Change Control & Compliance
- Coordinating program and project change control documentation
- Managing escalation and change request processes through governance channels
- Maintaining records, evidence and documentation requirements
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures
Project Support
- Supporting capacity planning and resource coordination activities
- Providing administrative continuity across programs and projects
- Enabling effective utilisation of senior Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders
- Supporting the timely delivery of key program milestones

Essential Experience
- Demonstrated experience in program governance, project controls, reporting or project support environments
- Experience preparing governance documentation, board papers and executive-level communications

- Experience working with project and program management systems, registers, dashboards, SharePoint or similar platforms
