Production Coordinator | Townsville We are currently seeking an experienced
Production Coordinator based in
Townsville.
This is a
hands-on, full-time role suited to someone with a background in
batching plant operations who is confident working with
PLC-controlled systems.
Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm (earlier starts during peak periods) $47/hr Casual with potential for permanent role Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day production and warehouse activities
- Operate and manage fertiliser batching processes using PLC systems
- Oversee product blending, bagging, and dispatch operations
- Manage stock movement, order checks, and incoming/outgoing loads
- Supervise contractors and site personnel during operations
- Assist in scheduling maintenance
- Provide customer service regarding orders and updates
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety and company procedures
- Operate forklifts and other plant equipment as required
About You
- Proven experience in a batching plant, production, or bulk materials environment
- Strong understanding and experience working with PLC systems
- Hands-on and confident working across both operations and coordination
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator with leadership capability
- Safety-focused with a commitment to compliance
- Physically fit and able to pass Drug & Alcohol screening
Mandatory Requirements
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Forklift Licence
