Mechanical Maintenance Tradesperson - Townsville We are recruiting for a qualified
Mechanical Maintenance Tradesperson to maintain, diagnose, repair and improve plant and equipment, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operation through planned, preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 (depending on experience) + super
- Monday to Friday - Full Time - Permanent - 1 RDO every 2 weeks
Key Responsibilities:- Fault finding, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Carrying out modifications to optimise plant and equipment performance
- Interpreting technical drawings and manuals
- Recording maintenance activities and contributing to continuous improvement
- Participating in toolbox talks, pre-starts, TPM and 5S activities
- Working safely in line with WHS and environmental requirements
- Conduct work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
About You:- Trade qualified in a relevant mechanical discipline
- Experience in Heavy Industry, Hydraulics and Preventative Maintenance
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Good communication and basic computer skills
- Forklift, EWP, and bridge/gantry crane tickets desirable
