MC Truck Driver - Townsville (Out of Town) - Join Our Team! Job Summary: We're seeking an experienced and motivated MC Truck Driver to join our team in Townsville, with a focus on out-of-town assignments. As a key member of our logistics team, you'll play a vital role in delivering bulk grain road freight, container freight, and general freight across various regions. If you're comfortable with a B-double setup, willing to learn, and enjoy working independently and as part of a team, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities: * Safely operate a B-double setup, including a minimum of a main B-double and experience with road trains (3 trailers) and other oversized haulage
* Load and unload freight from various trailers, including side tippers, grain tippers, flat tops, container skels, low loader floats, and more
* Work independently and as part of a team to meet delivery deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction
* Collaborate with the owner and manager to receive direction and support from the office team
* Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the routes, traffic, and road conditions to optimize delivery times and reduce costs
Requirements: * Valid MC License
* Willingness to work away from Townsville
* Comfortable with a B-double setup at minimum
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
