Maintenance Worker to join our team in Townsville. This hands-on role involves maintaining, installing, inspecting, and repairing parks infrastructure and playground equipment to meet approved drawings, specifications, and Australian Standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Fully maintain and repair all parks infrastructure and playground equipment
- Follow instructions from Crew Leader or Team Leader
- Safely operate light plant, machinery, and maintenance equipment
- Provide after-hours and weekend repairs as required
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
What You’ll Need:- Construction White Card (essential)
- Manual Open Driver’s Licence (MR Truck Licence desirable)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment process including:
- Drug & Alcohol testing
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- Sound oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage positively with the community and team
- Effective time management and the ability to work independently or in a team
