About the Opportunity:
Are you an experienced HR professional passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and driving success through people? We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join our clients dynamic team.

This is a true generalist role, offering you the chance to manage a diverse range of HR functions and make a tangible impact across our entire business. Our client will consider DIDO from Townsville or Mackay.

What you'll be doing:

  • Employee Relations: Act as the go-to expert for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, managing grievances, and mediating workplace issues to promote a fair and respectful culture.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Drive the end-to-end recruitment process, from drafting compelling job ads to interviewing and onboarding new team members, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and roll out creative initiatives that boost morale, increase job satisfaction, and strengthen our team, including recognition programs and company events.
  • Policy & Compliance: Keep our HR practices robust and compliant by maintaining policies in line with the Fair Work Act and relevant Modern Awards.
  • HR Operations: Manage day-to-day HR administration, maintain employee records, and assist with HR reporting to support data-driven decisions.
What you will bring to the team:
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist within an Australian business.
  • A strong, practical understanding of Australian employment law and industrial relations.
  • Demonstrated success in managing recruitment cycles and employee relations cases.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build trust and rapport.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • A relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
