HR/Backhoe operator and 5 tonne excavator/labourer with DRFA experience
Ravenshoe | Civil Construction | Road & Disaster Recovery Projects Achieve Group is seeking
experienced Backhoe Operators with HR licenses & 5 Tonne Excavator operators/Labourers for upcoming and ongoing
TMR and DRFA road construction and disaster recovery projects in Ravenshoe.
We are particularly interested in operators who have
previously worked on TMR projects, DRFA/NDRRA reconstruction works or major civil road projects and understand the standards, safety requirements and expectations associated with government-funded infrastructure works.
Depending on the project, works will include:
- Flood and disaster-damaged road reconstruction
- Pavement rehabilitation and reconstruction
- Formation and subgrade works
- Bulk and detailed earthworks
- Drainage and culvert works
- Batter and table drain construction
- Road widening and upgrades
- Gravel re-sheeting
- Final trim and finishing works
- General civil and road maintenance activities
What We're Looking For To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Previous TMR and/or DRFA/NDRRA project experience essential
- Demonstrated experience operating relevant plant in civil road construction
- Current relevant plant competencies/tickets
- Construction White Card
- Current driver's licence
- Strong understanding of civil construction and roadworks
- Ability to complete daily pre-starts and basic plant inspections
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work effectively as part of a civil construction crew
- Ability to work away from home where required
- Reliable work history and contactable references
