Gatehouse Operator to join our team at the Townsville waste disposal and recovery facility. This is a front-line role responsible for providing high-quality customer service, ensuring smooth operations at the gatehouse, and promoting responsible waste disposal and resource recovery.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist customers with the use of waste disposal and recycling facilities
- Provide clear directions and advice on site procedures
- Encourage waste diversion practices in line with environmental objectives
- Resolve customer queries in a professional and efficient manner
- Monitor site activity and maintain safety protocols
Requirements:- A current C Class Manual Driver’s Licence
- Ability to pass a National Police Check
- Ability to undertake and pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays, with some weekday availability as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to workplace safety and environmental sustainability
