Achieve Group are recruiting for an experienced Formworker / Carpenter for a 3 month plus project in Rockhampton.
Key Duties- Understanding of the processes involved in carpentry and formwork
- Able to undertake a number of manual handling/labouring duties
- Assisting with ground preparation including structures / formwork and use of star pickets
- Capable of following general safe practices in accordance with the Workplace Health & Safety Act
- Willing to work outdoors for extended periods of time
- Trade qualified will only be accepted for this role.
Skills & Attributes- Previous experience working in the concreting, road & bridge industry
- Experience in Formwork/Steel fixing (required)
- White/Blue Construction card
- Sound oral, written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively and professionally engage with others
- Effective time and workload management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- An honest and reliable work ethic
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Confidence to work unsupervised or in a team environment
- Be physically fit and able to carry out heavy labouring duties
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing.
Benefits- Mon - Fri with some Saturday
- $55.00 flat per hour
- 12 hour days
