Achieve Group are looking for a Fitter and Turner – CNC Machinist in Townsville. About the role- Responsible for manufacturing custom mechanical components using a wide array of production techniques including CNC and manual machining.
- Working with ferrous and non-ferrous materials to meet quality standards and design specifications.
- Developing, refining, and maintaining scientific equipment.
About you- Certificate IV in Engineering (or equivalent certified trade or competency base qualification and substantial post-apprenticeship experience).
- Knowledge and previous experience in CNC machine programming, set up and operation.
- Expertise in operating medium-capacity equipment ensuring efficient, safety and precise machining processes.
- Level of experience in 3D CAD modelling and integrated CAM software.
- Ideally you will have knowledge in the use of additive manufacturing technology and equipment along with basic experience in metal fabrication processes.
Benefits- $49-$62 per hour (depending on experience).
- Full-time, 9-month Temporary opportunity.
