Disposal Support & Plant Operator – Townsville Full-Time - Casual | $39.81/hr + Penalties | 38 Hours per Week We are currently seeking an experienced
Disposal Support & Plant Operator to join our operations team in
Townsville. This full-time position plays a key role in the effective operation and maintenance of
landfills and transfer stations, ensuring the safe, clean, and efficient delivery of waste management services to the public.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide disposal support services at landfills and transfer stations
- Conduct litter management and maintenance of site signage
- Maintain hazardous waste collection sheds
- Supervise public use of tipping faces and transfer stations
- Provide relief support for the Gatehouse Operation during breaks
- Operate a range of plant equipment
- Assist the Leading Hand to complete all site tasks as required
Mandatory Requirements:- HR Truck Licence
- Front End Loader Ticket
- Compactor Ticket
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical, including Drug & Alcohol screening
- Clear National Police Check
Desirable Tickets (not mandatory):- Grader (LG)
- Excavator (LE)
- Dozer (LZ)
- Backhoe
