Construction Supervisor – Townsville We are recruiting a
Construction Supervisor on behalf of a
well respected and established local construction company based in Townsville.
Our client delivers a broad range of projects across
defence, education, and commercial building works and is seeking an experienced supervisor to support ongoing and upcoming projects.
The Role This position is responsible for the
day-to-day supervision of site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise site operations and coordinate subcontractors and trades
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme
- Implement and maintain WHS and site safety systems
- Monitor quality control and compliance standards
- Coordinate materials, scheduling, and site logistics
- Maintain site records, reports, and construction documentation
- Liaise with Project Managers, consultants, and clients as required
About You- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor within the building sector
- Strong background in construction (defence or education projects highly regarded)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Good computer skills, including use of the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to quality outcomes and safe work practices
