Carpentry Trades Assistant – Ellis Beach (Cairns) Achieve Group is currently seeking an experienced Trades Assistant with a building/carpentry background to join our client’s team based in Ellis Beach. This is a great opportunity to work alongside qualified carpenters on an active construction site. This is an immediate start role offering 3–4 months of consistent work. Applicants must be available for the full duration of the project.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting carpenters with daily construction tasks
- Handling materials, including loading and unloading supplies
- Site preparation and general clean-up
- Safely operating basic hand and power tools
- Adhering to workplace health and safety procedures
- Supporting general labouring duties as required
Requirements:- Current White Card (physical copy required)
- Ability to provide a current Police Check
- Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol / Medical assessment
- Reliable transport
- Comfortable completing online site inductions
