Carpenters - Townsville About the Role: We are seeking experienced and reliable
Carpenters for immediate start on fit-out projects across
Townsville. The role involves high-quality finishing work including the construction and installation of
plywood bulkheads, wall linings, mouldings, and skirting boards.
Key Responsibilities: • Construct and install
ply bulkheads to detailed specifications
• Fit and finish
ply wall linings, ensuring clean joints and alignment
• Install
mouldings and skirtings with attention to detail and finish
• Interpret drawings and plans to meet project requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Collaborate effectively with site supervisors and other trades
Requirements: • Trade qualification in Carpentry (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent)
• Proven experience in
fit-out carpentry, particularly with plywood and finishing work
• Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and high standard of workmanship
• Own tools and reliable transport preferred
• White Card (Construction Induction) – Mandatory
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
Desirable: • Experience working on commercial or government projects
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) or Working at Heights tickets (optional)
