Carpenter - Ellis Beach We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our client crew in Ellis Beach, Cairns for an immediate start. The ideal candidate will be Trade qualified and have hands-on experience in subdivision work, installing a variety of fence types and a strong work ethic. You’ll work on projects involving new fence installations, repairs, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:- Measure and mark fence layout lines accurately on site
- Install various types of fencing (wood, vinyl, chain link, metal, etc.)
- Repair or replace damaged fencing
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Read and interpret site plans or customer instructions
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:- Carpentry Qualification
- White Card (Physical)
- Valid driver’s license & transport
- Ability to lift 25kgs and perform physically demanding work
- Proficiency with fencing tools and equipment
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Punctual, reliable, and professional attitude
