Bulk Water Labourer – Townsville (Casual) Employment Type: Casual (38 hours/week + Overtime Available)
About the Role We are seeking a reliable and motivated
Bulk Water Labourer to join our team in Townsville. This is a casual position offering full-time hours with the opportunity for overtime, including some weekend or night call-outs.
You will be working across a variety of field tasks related to water infrastructure maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities- Drive to and from work sites across the Townsville region
- Letterbox drops and customer notifications
- Set up and pack down of job sites
- Preventative maintenance of water assets
- Respond to burst water mains and fire hydrants
- Operate machinery including excavators
- Perform concrete cutting as required
- Assist with pump station maintenance
Requirements- MR Truck Licence (minimum requirement)
- Construction White Card
- Must be available Monday – Friday, with flexibility for weekend and night on-call work
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour in outdoor conditions
- Previous experience in water or civil works an advantage
