Achieve Group are seeking an experienced and driven Branch Manager to lead a new branch in Charters Towers specialising in supplying a wide range of plant and equipment . This is a rare chance to build a branch from the ground up, working closely with the General Manager and CEO to drive operational performance, business growth, and team development.

The Role You will be responsible for the overall sales, operations, financial performance and leadership of the Charters Towers branch. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who thrives in a regional market and enjoys building strong local relationships.

Key Responsibilities Branch Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team

  • Foster a strong safety, quality and performance culture

  • Recruit and onboard new staff as the branch grows

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies

  • Build strong relationships across local government, civil, construction, mining and private sectors

  • Identify and pursue new hire opportunities

  • Contribute to tenders and quotations

Financial & Operational Management

  • Monitor branch performance against budgets and forecasts

  • Manage assets and resources to ensure profitability

  • Oversee debt collection and purchasing compliance

  • Develop budgets and equipment Capex forecasts

  • Ensure safety and legislative compliance

Customer Service

  • Maintain high service standards

  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally

  • Represent the business within the local community

First 3–6 Months Focus
  • Establish and operationalise the branch

  • Recruit key personnel

  • Build local networks and brand presence

  • Generate turnover from existing fleet

  • Identify local growth opportunities

About You
  • Proven leadership experience in plant hire, civil, construction, mining or related industries

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen

  • Experience in business development and relationship management

  • Operationally hands-on and solutions-focused

  • Must be based in Charters Towers
