About the Role
Achieve Group is seeking a dedicated and dynamic AO4 Program Engagement Officer to join our Clients Customer and Stakeholder Management (CSM) Team on a full-time temporary basis. This role is pivotal in providing essential communications and community engagement support for major infrastructure initiatives.
You will be fully embedded within the CSM team, supporting the delivery of key Bruce Highway Upgrade projects—including the Gairloch Project, Burdekin Deviation, and the Targeted Safety Program—ensuring strategic stakeholder alignment and consistent public messaging across all funded programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute targeted engagement and communication strategies across multiple capital works projects.
  • Develop and maintain project webpages and digital engagement platforms (e.g., Social Pinpoint).
  • Draft and distribute a range of communication materials such as newsletters, media releases, flyers, and construction updates.
  • Engage and consult with local communities, businesses, and stakeholders affected by infrastructure delivery.
  • Manage stakeholder feedback, resolve issues, and maintain accurate records using consultation management systems.
  • Support correspondence tracking and contribute to transparent, responsive stakeholder relations.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and community consultation within government or infrastructure contexts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
  • Confidence using digital engagement tools and managing web content.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, especially with data and reporting systems.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused attitude with the ability to manage competing priorities.
