Administration & Accounts Officer - Mackay

About the Role Achieve Group is currently seeking an experienced, reliable and detail-oriented Administration & Accounts Officer to assist with a broad range of administrative, payroll, and finance-related tasks. This role is essential to ensuring accurate financial processing, compliance, and operational support within the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Receivable processing

  • Accounts Payable processing

  • Payroll administration

  • Driver Runsheet reconciliation

  • Compliance administration and record keeping

  • Monthly reconciliation of accounts

  • Maintaining and updating the commitment register

  • Preparation and support of weekly Profit & Loss reports

  • Pallet stock control and reconciliation

Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in an administrative or accounts support role

  • Sound knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes

  • Payroll experience (highly regarded)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Good organisational and time management skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Experience in transport, logistics, or a similar industry (desirable but not essential)

Requirements
  • Must be able to pass a National Police Check.
  • Must be able to complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening.
