Internal Sales Consultant

Our client is a leading tyre wholesaler with national distribution and well-established quality brands, and we are in pursuit of a results-driven Internal Sales Consultant to join our Sales team based at our Townsville branch.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you must be able to work to deadlines, be organised, have a strong passion for sales and be customer centric.
Key duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Making warm outbound calls to existing customers to generate sales and following up on previous inquiries or quotes
- Responding to all customer inquiries regarding product information, pricing, availability, delivery schedules and back orders in a timely manner
- Receiving inbound calls from both internal and external customers regarding sales or inquiries
- Accurately processing & keying in sales orders and quotes
- Providing support and information to the field sales team
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent rapport building, with proven experience in sales and customer service
- The skills to up sell and cross sell at every opportunity
- A ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work under pressure
- A friendly phone manner and strong communicator
- An ability to think on your feet with good attention to detail
