Surveyor - Buderim Role: 1 Year with potential to extend
Pay Rate: $67.95 to $74.00 (depending on experience)
An opportunity is available for an experienced
Surveyor to join a regional survey team, supporting the delivery of engineering surveying services across all phases of infrastructure project lifecycles.
About the Role As a Surveyor, you will undertake engineering surveys to support planning, design, construction, and ongoing management of the road network. You will play a key role in delivering survey projects in line with established surveying standards and best practices.
Working within a collaborative team environment, you will contribute to a diverse range of projects, ensuring outcomes meet quality, efficiency, and compliance expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engineering surveying projects across all phases of the project cycle.
- Work in accordance with relevant standards, policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements.
- Identify and address quality considerations throughout project delivery.
- Undertake specialised survey projects and provide technical expertise in geospatial applications.
- Provide consultancy services to a range of stakeholders, ensuring value for money and best practice outcomes.
- Plan, allocate, supervise, and coordinate the work of team members where required.
Mandatory Requirements- A minimum 3-year degree in Surveying from a recognised tertiary institution, or a qualification acceptable for registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland (SBQ).
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
