Paula Luke is the Office Manager at Eureka Water & Filtration. She has been employed with Achieve Group for nearly a month and a half and is already jumping headfirst into her new role!
While she undertakes the regular duties of an office administrator, Paula also takes on additional extra commitments such as writing policies and procedures while also tendering and helping with the accounts. She also has recently found herself marketing the business to help its growth! Here is Paula in her own words!
“I have my Certificate IV in Business Administration, Certificate III in Financial Services & Certificate II in Retail” she says.
“I have also completed a Rehabilitation & Return to Work Coordinators course, have my S1, S2 & S3 certificate and countless other short courses. I enjoy learning and love to continue improving my skills and knowledge”.
“Three years ago, my husband and I were given the amazing opportunity to work and live in Cambodia. Here I worked in schools helping with their admissions, marketing, and communication.
“Prior to this I worked at Thalanga Mine in the office and store for five years. When I had my first child, Thalanga set up an office at my house so I could continue working for them from home as a Document Controller. I also worked for AMP for three years as a Personal Assistant and General Insurance Advisor”.
“My favourite part about my job is the challenges of working to deadlines and using my skill set to improve the business. I also love the fact that the role is flexible, and family orientated”.
“While I have never worked for a recruitment agency before, my employment with Achieve has been being straight forward and easy. Someone is always available to answer questions and it is like being part of a small community/family”.
