Our valued client a leading mid-tier contractor completing work in Queensland and NSW and is currently looking for an experienced project planner to join their Townsville team on a new civil project.

We are looking for a talented individual who has previous experience in a planning role. Civil industry experience is preferable but applicants from any planning industry will be considered.

Ideally you will:

•Have previous experience in a similar role preferably from civil or commercial construction background

•Advanced Aster/Primavera skills or similar

•Tertiary qualifications from a relevant background

•4 years experience in a similar role

•Excellent communication and written skills

•Develop and update project schedules

•Forecasting on major projects

•Report and update on schedule status

•Develop tender programmes and assess project documentation

•Risk assessments

•Work closely with the construction team and report to the project manager

•Attend relevant meetings
